You may have faced "Unfortunately, GTA SA has stopped working" error in your Android phones after installing a mod or mod pack in GTA San Andreas Android. This is really annoying error because nobody knows the exact reason of this error. Yesterday, I faced the same error and after some research I was able to fix this error. This is usually caused because of mismatching of GPU. All phones have GPU like we have graphics cards in our desktops. So your mobile should have a gpu which should be supported by the mod or mod pack. Today, I will tell you a detailed guide on how to fix this error.

Before You Start

• This guide may or may not work for you. This worked for me, thats why I am sharing it.
• You have to rename all the files present inside folders in "texdb" folder.
• To know the name of your GPU, you can use "CPU-Z" app (free in playstore). Open it and you can see your GPU name as shown in this pic:

Fix for "Unfortunately, GTA SA has stopped working error"

• After downloading the mod or mod pack (which is causing this error) you have to extract the mod (if it is in .zip or .rar).
• After extracting, you should see some files and folders.
• Now, we have to rename the files with your phone's GPU code. but before we do this, take a look at the table below:
# GPU    Code
1.   Adreno   dxt
2.   PowerVR   pvr
3.   Other GPU's   etc

Now keep this in mind that if you have Adreno GPU in your phone then rename the text highlighted in below pictures with "dxt". Similarly if you have PowerVR then rename to "pvr" and if you have any other GPU like Mali, Tegra or any other then rename to "etc".

So, lets begin the tutorial:
• Go to the location where you extracted the mod pack and you will see some files and folders. Go to "texdb" folder and you will see some more files and folders like this:

• We have to go to each of the folder inside "texdb" folder and rename the files there. So lets start renaming. First go to "gta3" folder and you will see some files (shown below).  Now you have to rename all the files which have been highlighted in the picture below (except ".txt" and ".unc.tmb" file).  You don't have to rename all the text. Just rename the code highlighted with your GPU's code. My GPU is PowerVR so I have added the text ".pvr." in all the three files. You have to replace the world ".pvr." with your GPU code. If your GPU code is not present in the table above then rename it with ".etc.".

• Now go to "txd" folder and rename its files with your GPU code.

• Similarly go to other folders (present inside texdb folder) and rename the three files with your GPU code. After renaming all, run the game. I hope the mod will work now.

If its not working then please do not post rude comments. Because I have already mentioned that the exact reason of this error is unknown. This worked for me that's why I shared it. This may be due to cleo, un-stable mod, some bugs in mod, old or latest game version and may be due to cleo.

Location Guide for the Tallest Building in GTA San Andreas (Mobile)

If you are new player of GTA SA Android or old player and you do not know the location of tallest building in GTA San Andreas then this guide is for you. This is a short but step by step guide. The tallest building in GTA San Andreas is located in Las Santos. The picture above is captured from that building. Yes it is not tall from Mount Chilliad but I think we're talking about buildings here.
So here's the guide. First of all open the map and search for this location. and set target (by touching map) to the red circle (as shown below):

And go there. The white circle (inside red circle) is that tallest building. So after you reach there search for Yellow Checkpoint. Like this:

Now after you have find that yellow checkpoint (as shown in above picture) just go there and you will be at top of that tallest building.

This guide was only for those who didn't know this place. Yes many people know this place but some still don't know the location of this awesome building. I hope you've find this location. If you need help just comment below. I am here to help ya all ;) !

You should have noticed that many mods which I share here at www.gtaam.net may have the first step to "Extract the obb files". This step is compulsary for those mods to work. Usually this step requires computer but those who don't have computers can use there Android Phones or Tablets to do this. Only those who don't know how to extract ".obb" files of GTA San Andreas Android using there smartphones should follow this tutorial. If you have Computer, you can watch video tutorial in our Youtube channel.


Before You Start

• Extracting ".obb" files of GTA San Andreas Android can take a lot of time depending on your phone specs.
• All files like "gta3.img" and other ".img" files for Android GTA SA are inside those two ".obb" files. (inside texdb folder)!
• Make sure you have 2.5GB free space where you want to extract your obb files.
• If you don't want to extract all files just select the file and extract it (it will save time and space)!! <<= Recommended step!!
• ES File Explorer is recommended. No I am not advertising this app. But this app deserves this!
• The file you edited should go to there according folder. I mean if you replaced a file in "gta3.img" then move "gta3.img" to "Android/data/com.rockstargames.gtasa/files/texdb/    <here>
because the file "gta3.img" was present inside "texdb" folder so we moved it to "texdb" folder (create a new folder and rename it to "texdb" if does not exist!).


Tutorial: How to Extract obb Files Using Your Android Phone and ES File Explorer app:

•Before proceeding, You have to extract those two ".obb" files.
Now you will be thinking how to extract those two ".obb" files?
No its not that hard as you think. Its easy.
• Just install ES File Explorer. After Downloading ES File Explorer, Open it and go to:
/Android/obb/com.rockstargames.gtasa/            <here>
• Change extension of both ".obb" files to ".zip". You can do this by simply writing ".zip" at last of their names. You can do this like this, the name of first ".obb" file is "main.8.com.rockstargames.gtasa.obb". What you have to do is touch and hold it (if you are using ES File Explorer), then click Rename button and change its name to "main.8.com.rockstargames.gtasa.obb.zip" (just write .zip at end of its name) and it will be converted to a zip file. Which can be opened by ES File Explorer easily.
• Do the same for second ".obb" file and you are done. Now proceed to next step.

• After doing the above step those two ".obb" files will be converted to ".zip" files.
• Now Open them one by one. And click extract and choose the location where you want to extract. It will take 2.5 GB of space and also extract all the files present inside those obb files. But if you are low on space or don't want all files inside obb files and want to save time then search for ".img" file you need. In most cases we need "gta3.img file. You can find it by opening "patch.8.com.rockstargames.gtasa.obb.zip" file and going to "texdb" folder.
• After going to this folder extract "gta3.img" file by touching and holding it and selecting extract button. Extract it anywhere in you sd card (or internal memory) but make sure you have atleast-atleast 500MB free space. 
• Now that "gta3.img" file will be extracted easily.
• Now Rename the "obb" files back to ".obb". Or the game will not run.
• Now you can use IMG TOOL FOR ANDROID app ( Click Here to Download IMG Tool Android) to open that img file, edit it, replace it etc!!!
• After modding any ".img" file move it to:s
  /Android/data/com.rockstargames.gtasa/files/texdb/        <here>
*Create new "files" and "texdb" folder if does not exist!

Map not showing correctly? Its showing at bottom left corner? Here's a fix! GTA SA Android Mobile GTAAM

Hello guys. I am here to give you a simple fix if your GTA San Andreas Android map is not showing in correct position. In many new mods you may have noticed that map position is changed. Some mods have the same old position but some have bottom left position. This position is really bad for map to show. Because we have our thumb there. Many users contact me to fix this issue. Finally I found a fix. All credit of this fix goes to "HAF" for making it. This fix was present in one of his mods to fix the radar position and it work for those who want to revert back to original position of the radar (map) of GTA San Andreas Android Mobile.
• Download the fix from HERE
• Extract it. You can use ES File Explorer if you're in Mobile and WinRar if you are in computer.
• Now you will see a file "adjustable.cfg". Move this file to:
  /Android/data/com.rockstargames.gtasa/files/         <here>
*If a file "adjustable.cfg" is already present there, then make a backup of it then move this one!
Replace it, if it asks.• Now run the game,

How to Download Mods From "www.Mega.nz" via Mobile? Read This Guide with Pictures!

Mega is a famous file hosting site. I think everybody have atleast once opened it and once faced problem when downloading large mod packs from this site. Today, I will show you a way with which you can download from MEGA without any problem using your smartphone (no need PC). PC users can use "Internet Download Manager" to download large files from internet (don't forget to click download through browser option when it asks). Now I come to mobile users. Those who face downloading problem please try this, I am sure you will be able to download anything from now!
I have posted this guide with screenshots so you don't face any problem, but if you still face any problem feel free to comment below or contact me (via Fb).
To download from MEGA.NZ using your mobile phone, follow these steps:

Before You Start

• Create free MEGA account, it will take 2 to 3 minutes -_-! It is important!

Here's how to download from Mega.nz:

First open the mega link by clicking it!



You will see that, that link opens playstore! Do not go back. Instead click on install. Make sure you install Mega Official app (not any other app).



After installation is complete, click open:


After clicking open, you will see a page like this:
Click create an account option (if you don't have mega account).

Fill all the information to make your Mega account. Make sure you use correct info (including correct email).


After creating and verifying your account click login button and login with email and password you used to signup.


After logging in, you will see a page like this:
Don't worry its normal! 


Now close mega app or minimize it by pressing home or circle button on your android phone.
Now once again click on Mega File link which you want to download:


This time you will see a window like this:
Click on "Import"!
If your phone is asking to choose an app to complete the operation, then choose the Mega App and click Always use this app to complete the operation. Then you can see this window!


After clicking Import option a new page like this will open. Again click "Import" option:


A new file will appear like below:
This is the file which you want to download, it has now been added to your account!


Now click on three vertical dots after that file name (just like step 1 in below screenshot),
You will see a new menu at bottom (just like step 2 in below screenshot). Click on "Download" from that menu:


A new message will pop up to confirm your action, choose "Download" option:

You will notice that download has been started...! 


In notification bar, you can see a notification from Mega app. It will show you progress of your current file. Do not force close/hide this notification because you download will be canceled if you do so. 


Now after download is finished you can do whatever you want with that file. 

Some things to remember while following above steps:
• If it asks to select a destination, choose sd card (if your sd card has enough space) else choose internal storage.
• After download has been complete make sure you remove the file from your Mega Account. Removing file from Mega Account will ensure that you do not get low on space in you mega account. (you have 50GB of online storage in your Mega Account).
• To verify your account (or email) open the email account you used to sign up, you will see an email from Mega. Open it. After opening it there will be a link. Opening that link will verify your account. Make sure you open the correct one!
• I always download large files at night before I go to sleep. Why? Because download is never interrupted or closed and file never get corrupted! But it is up to you how you want to download them!

Can't Download from YaDi.sk? Here's a Simple Fix!

Yadi.sk is a file hosting website. Many people use it to host there files/mods there. These days some modders are uploading their big mod packs in Yadi.sk. Because it is free and has no speed limit. But I noticed that some of the links are not letting anyone download files. This is annoying because modders who upload their mod packs (which are in Gega Bytes) have no time to re-upload on any other site. So once a link is dead, its dead forever.

You can download from there without any issue but sometimes you can see an error like Bandwidth Limit Reached or Resource Limit is Reached. To fix this error I have a simple trick for you. Some of you may know this trick already but those who do not know this, please keep reading. You have to create an account in Yadi.sk. It takes maximum of 3 minutes to register. After creating account reopen that link and add that file to your account. After adding to your account go to "Your Files" and click that file (which you just added to your account) now click download and download will start without any problem!
This is really simple trick to download from YaDi.sk!
